Practical Pistol & Rifle Hybrid

The Practical Pistol & Rifle Hybrid class is designed to enhance and develop your shooting abilities with both pistols and rifles, accommodating shooters of all skill levels, from novices to experienced shooters. Our comprehensive approach is grounded in the fundamental concepts and principles of shooting, aiming to develop the highest levels of speed and accuracy needed for effective performance in various shooting situations. Throughout the course, we will thoroughly explore the three essential pillars of shooting: Grip, Vision, and Trigger, ensuring each participant gains a deep understanding of their importance in achieving optimal results.

Firstly, we will examine the concept of Grip, which is crucial for mastering both firearms. A proper grip not only provides stability and control but also directly affects the accuracy of each shot. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to help them identify their natural grip style and learn how to adjust it for maximum efficiency. We will experiment with various grip techniques to emphasis how these factors contribute to recoil management and follow-up shot precision.

Secondly, the aspect of Vision will be thoroughly explored, as it plays a vital role in shooting performance. Effective vision management involves not only focusing on the target but also maintaining awareness of the sight picture and the surrounding environment. We will teach techniques to enhance visual acuity, such as target tracking and proper sight alignment, while also discussing the importance of maintaining a relaxed and focused state of mind. Participants will practice drills to develop their ability to quickly acquire targets and seamlessly adjust their focus dependent upon the data required to make the most appropriate shot.

Lastly, we will focus on Trigger control, and understanding how to minimize input into the gun and sights. Understanding the mechanics of the trigger and how to manipulate it without disturbing the sight is essential for consistent shot placement.

By the end of the Performance Pistol & Rifle class, participants will not only have a deeper understanding of the mechanics behind shooting but will also have developed practical skills that can be applied in real-world situations. Our goal is to create confident and competent shooters who can perform under pressure while maintaining balance between speed and accuracy.
